The Green Bengaluru Mission is one of Karnataka's largest citizen-led environmental initiatives, bringing together residents, students, corporates, NGOs, and community groups to plant 1.5 million native saplings in a single day across key BDA layouts in Bengaluru. The campaign aims to expand the city's green cover, improve biodiversity, reduce urban heat, enhance groundwater recharge, and promote sustainable urban development. Participants will receive on-site guidance, essential facilities, and an opportunity to contribute to Bengaluru's long-term ecological restoration.
